A big thankyou to Shyrone for having the courage to share her story. I have been thinking some more about this one, although I am not from canada, I am sure that there must be numerous community legal centres in canada who can assist you in this matter. I am sure that you will be able to seek some form of redress, perhaps some of the sikh cybernet members who are in canada will be able to point you in the right direction. I am sure there must be some sort of immigration hotline or website you can access. The most important thing is NOT to get disheartened or be scared.
