GurSikh Speed Meeting Clicks.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!! We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that the first ever GurSikh Speed Meeting pilot conducted on April 30, 2006 in NYC was a huge success. We received over 100 emails and the support, feedback, energy, optimism, etc. that was shown prior to and at the event was incredible! People flew in from all parts of the world, Australia, Toronto, Seattle, California, etc. We were even able to dispel the urban myth that there are more Sardars than Sardarnis out there as we had more Sardarnis attend!! We are also pleased to say that no one will be getting a discount for any future event as everyone received agreed “CLICKS”! Good relationships are built on understanding, communication and trust. We all know that only happens face-to-face. GurSikh Speed Meetings provide a way for individuals to meet with other Gursikhs one-on-one to see if there is that "CLICK". Due to the interest shown and wonderful success of the pilot event, we plan on organising subsequent events targeting additional geographic regions i.e. DC, San Francisco, Toronto, UK, etc. Although, as many individuals were hoping to attend the NYC pilot and due to the Big Apple energy, we are thinking of holding another meeting in NYC again in late June or mid July, depending on the availability of the venue.
