These are the same people disgusing as Rashtriya Sikh Sangat. And they also claim that Tajmahal wasn't a moghul monument but an ancient Shiva Temple.
Should we dismiss all this as plain ludicrous? Perhaps not. Because Babri Masjid demolishon also came from the same people. Putting Brahmin interest before anything else is their objective. What business do they have in meddling with the Sikh affairs? And the Sikhs had better wake up to this truth.

Christian girls' hostel attacked
The Times of India News Service and Agencies

MUMBAI: Around 80 youths, allegedly belonging to Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, forcibly entered the premises of ``Ashramshala'' - a girls hostel run by Christian missionaries in Abhona village in Nashik district - on Tuesday night and assaulted a few tribal persons watching a film on the life of Jesus Christ. Thirty-two persons, identified as VHP activists, have been arrested in connection with the attack.

Two persons, including a woman, were seriously injured in the attack. The duo - Rajni Buddha and Ambadas Choudhari - are recuperating at a local hospital. Sources at the state police headquarters here said they were out of danger.

According to the police, the youths were protesting against the screening of a film on Jesus Christ. The film was being watched by 50 hostel inmates and a few tribals from the area. The hostel authorities had organised a book exhibition on Tuesday and later arranged a late night film show on Jesus Christ.

At around 11.30 p.m, the activists entered the hostel shouting Jai Bhavani and Jai Shivaji and ransacked the hostel premises. They reportedly damaged a cinema projector and set ablaze three motorcycles, a mini-van and a cinema screen.

``They are VHP activists,'' deputy inspector general of police (law and order) P K Jain said. ``We have charged them with rioting, attempt to murder, causing damage to property and breaching peace in the area. They are currently remanded to police custody.''

Members of several political parties, including the Republican Party of India, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party, condemned the attack and called for a bandh on Wednesday. ``The bandh was peaceful,'' said Jain. Maharashtra minister of state for dairy development and animal husbandry A T Pawar, who hails from the tribal-dominated Kalwan taluka, rushed to the village after hearing the news of the attack. A platoon of state reserve police has been deployed at the village. Security has been beefed up in and around the hostel. The situation is under control, Jain added.

Incidentally, a state-level convention of the BJP is scheduled to be held at Nashik later this week.

Communal tension was witnessed a few months ago in Nashik and Dhulia.
