| Satsriakal To all, On my recent visit to punjab I noticed something: Where have all the eagles/vultures gone? When I was a child I went to punjab about 15 years ago and I recall seeing eagles/vultures they were devouring carcasses, but on this occasion and 5 years ago when I went to Punjab I have never again seen any eagles/vultures. They seem to have vanished, are they hunted?, or have they simply migrated from the punjab to a better climate? I asked my grandfather whilst I was in India and he advised me that it had been a long time since he had last seen any eagles. Anyone living in punjab can you verify if this is true have the eagles/vultures become extinct in punjab? I am not sure if the birds i saw were eagles or vultures so which ever one it was where have they all gone? Indy |
