What i mean by original concepts are the basic tenets of daily living; work hard, earn an honest living, "golden rule", be kind and generous to those less fortunate than yourself, share your wealth, doing good deeds, etc. etc. i can go on... This is the core of every faith. The rest though written in holy books and taken as the "word of god" were also dictated and written by human beings. If we truly understand the concept of God we know he/she is not human...but love. God does not write or speak, God is a presence. We feel that divine prescence only when we do good deeds or live correctly moraly etc. This is what i am talking about. All holy scriptures were written in accordance to the culture and time they existed or were brought about...those are what account for the "differences". -Aman
