Daljit ji ssa nmskar
brother the quotes you wrote from ggs does not prove that the unshorn hair has any particular important religious value and how it enhences the meditative, healthier and spiritual state of sikh.
in all these quotes the value of hair is not more than a visk(flea remover) and you cannot make a visk without removing them ,same like mostly visks were made from horse tail hair.that iis what i was trying to say that the value of human hair according to gurbani is merely not more than a bale of grass.
the other thing you said about almighty's hair
please what gurbani says about those who think that there must a form ogf god as you tried to discribe in your post
but gurbani saith
bharam bhulay nar karat kachrayan
janam maran tay rehat narayan.

so mukh jaloon jit kahay thakur joni.
so please the quote you use to predicate god's head with hair .it does not withstand accoding to gurbani ,check it again.
about dari(beard) same way it does not have any special importence more than to use it as a washing clothe to wash and dust off guru's feet.
again having dari does not bring any extra boast of meditation, health, spirit and intution,
gurbani also says that this
gariban upper jay khinjhay dari
parbrahm sa aagan meh jali.
same way physical bathing has no importance in the realm of dharma.
bahron dhoti tumbri vichon vis nikor
sadh bhalay un-nathyan chor say choran chor
what kind of bathing gurbani tells us
tirath nawan jaao tirath naam hai
tirarth shabad vichar aantar gyan hai

sacha nawan(bathing) gur ki sewa.
the last quote used you ascribed to bhai nand lal ji
please would you provide a reference where and when and in which book of bhai ji had wrote this and where it is available and preserved,
for your kind info ,please refer to bhai kahjan singh ji nabha about themendacity of this quote and how much time he spent to prove it spurious with all the research he conducted.
but what on the contrary guru gobi8nd singh ji said
keeay eshanan deeay bahu daan maha barat dharay des firayoo kar bhes tapo dhan KES DHARAY na milay har piaray.
last but not the least
hukam rajaee chalna nanak likhaya naal
does not mean any thing physical a sikh should be complete in his awaeness and intution, modesty and righteousness, seer and knower, compassionate and humble .
all these traits of sikh attributes to become a sabat surat dastar sira.
with love
sukh
