Jasjit ji ssa nmskar brother thanks for the reminder. why did i not mention bhai nand lal ji name ,besause all his poetry was written in pharsi the language sikhs abandoned long time ago and other thing is in the countries we are living at present majority of sikhs litererly fighting hard to save punjabi, even ninty percent sikh scholars do not know pharsi. i myself know little bit urdu and i tried hard to find a good translation and interpretation of bhai nand lal ji peotry. i read dr. ganda singh ,principal harbhajan singh and pundit narain singh ji but aftere a close perusal of their work you would find no congruity. and the fact is you will find seldom any historical fact in his peotry. that was the reason i didnot mention his name. few singhs had tried to ascribe "tankhahnamah to his name ,but after a very ardous research done by bhai kahan singh ji nabha in the early 20th century he had proven that there is no such work exist,it is all apocrypL. for reference "gurmat martand "by ks nabha published by sgpc dharam parchar comm. any way thanks again to remind ,in future i will qoute his name. with love sukh |
