Dear Sukh Singh Ji:
Sat Sri Akal.

We understand Gurbani the way Waheguru wants us to understand it. Your understanding is different than mine.

The example you gave of a father and two sons, is a good one, but is not relevant to our discussion, and appears to be an attempt at digression.

Your statement that 90% of GGS is addressed to Hindus and Muslmaans is factually incorrect. There are VERY FEW Shabds in GGS that are addressed to a specific community or sect. Most are addressed to ANY ONE who reads Gurbani.

The Shabad under discussion describes the qualities of a Musalmaan.

Again, the argument that you have advanced about Farid Ji's Shabad appears to be an attempt at digression, and the interpretation that you have suggested is ludicurious.

I apologize for some strong words in this post, but some of the arguments that you have advanced do not conform to your previous well thought out and thought provoking postings.

Respectfully

Jasjit
