| Indy, the word religion is not adequate. Here is another analogy. People thought that the earth is flat. At that time some people may have said that flat=earth, flat="a plank of wood" etc etc. In reality earth was spherical. Would it fair to say that earth is flat and the word spherical should not be used? In my view, according to the Oxford English Dictionary. religion is an inadequate word to be applied to Sikhism. Please feel free to keep this debate alive. I think it is important to understand the difference. |
