Saad Sangath Ji,

Liverpool 05 Rest 05
Though Liverpool has got at least one yellow card in every match (posting). Red Cards are self-imposed here. Short fuse is just the manifestation of ego…..the shorter the fuse bigger the ego.

Some how Sikhi is being projected as a two tier system. There are religions that follow a two tier system…the second tier being ritualism. In Sikhi there is no ritualism. Black and white and no gray areas.

In Sikhi it is our Dharam to religiously follow the path shown by our Guruji. Sikh religion or Dharam cannot be quantified in Bureaucratic terms….like is being done here.

The appearance of a Gursikh is a manifestation of his belief……manifestation of Guru’s intent for His Sikhs…..Sant Sipahi.

The French are sadly mistaken if they believe that religion is only ‘appearance deep’……their pseudo secularism is in actuality is just intolerance France is trying to arm twist the minorities into submission.

One thing the French have to realize……a Christian without a cross around his or neck is still a Christian, a Lady without the Hijab is still a Muslim, a Jew without the skull cap is still a Jew but a Sikh without his turban is not a Sikh.

Also for this identity numerous Sikhs have sacrificed their lives….hence, the importance of this identity to the Sikhs is evident.

The Sikh identity is not a religious symbol……it is Sikhi itself.....a Sikh lives up to the prescribed identity……the identity shows that he or she is leading a Sikh life. Society too expects that extra bit from Sikhs (recognized by their identity) and that is why when a Sikh errs Society admonishes him or her saying, “ Being a Sikh you are doing this?”
