| Sat Sri Akaal Karan Deep ji, I get shabad translations by going to http://www.sikhnet.com/GurbaniKirtan. Here you click on the letter which the shabad starts with, either the english or gurmukhi. The gurmukhi is better. Then you scroll down the list of the shabads begining with that letter to find your shabad and click on it. It is better to get adobe pdf file format because it is more compact. Somtimes I have found that the shabad is not listed and I think this is because some shabads are named from a line within the shabad and not the first line. To get these translations go to the search engine at http://www.sikhitothemax.com/search.asp and search for the first line of your shabad, just type in the first word (in gurmukhi) and find the line then get it's page number. Then go to the online SGGS at http://www.sikhnet.com/sggs/translation, enter the page number and hey presto you have found your shabad. Then just copy and paste (e.g. into Word) the whole shabad and print it. If you have any problems let me know. Bhupinder ji, Thanks for your hi-tech method of listening to keetan. If I get an MP3 player I will try it out. I never knew you can get them to display the translation, thanks. Sat Sri Akaal, Dalip Singh |
