| Sajjan Singhji, Guru Gobind Singhji did not explicitly mention Khalistan anywhere because the message he and the other sikh gurus tried to convey to the people transcends man made boundries. The sikh gurus teachings do not belong to any 1 group of people or any 1 nation, they are for all human race. Now having said that, do you believe our gurus were against or for the creation of any nation just because the country may have a majority of people from 1 particular religion? I think not.If the guruji did not explicitly advocate the creation of Khalistan, he did not explicitly oppose the creation of Khalistan. The guruji always fought against oppression no matter what religion the victims were, including sikhism. Sajjan Singhji if Khalistan is the reaction to the oppression faced by the sikhs under Indian rule, then I would think that guruji would support its creation. >> Today, we can't even call ourselves sikhs including me properly, but still we are for Khalistan? << I do not know what you think Khalistan would be? But from speaking with the many Khalistani friends, it seems to me that most want a Khalistan where sikhs can live without fear of their life, liberty and property being violated and they are free to practice their religion. Most Khalistanis are also against making it a theocratic state and would like Khalistan to be 'a nation for the Sikhs and not a Sikh nation'.
