The beggar loves to receive charity from the wealthy landlord.

bhookhay pareet hovai ann khaa-ay.
The hungry person loves to eat food.

gursikh pareet gur mil aaghaa-ay. ||1||
The GurSikh loves to find satisfaction by meeting the Guru. ||1||
