Summary of Question: | Prayer For Hair Loss |
Category: | Health |
Date Posted: | Friday, 6/12/2009 10:56 AM MDT |
I am healthy for my age, eat very well, get enough sleep, drink water and do not have any major stress. I eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, do not eat fast food.
For almost two months now, I have been eating high dose B-vitamins (called Hair, Skin, & Nails Pills), vitamin E, iron, vitamin C. Once per week I massage coconut oil/alma oil to my scalp before I shower. I am not noticing any major changes. Everyone in my family still has strong healthy hair in their old age, so hair loss is definitely not hereditary/genetics. They didn’t have grey hair until their late 40’s.
At the rate that I take care of my hair/health, I should have a very healthy mane; but that is not the case. I do not know any other girl my age who eats as well as I do; nor do I know any girl who has such hair problems. It just doesn’t make sense. Is there a prayer that I can do to help my hair? It may sound very superficial that I want to pray for my hair, but I do not see any other avenue.
I know that the each of the various 40 Pauris of Jap Ji Sahib serve a specific purpose. If you lack something, meditating on a certain Pauri can help you achieve your goal. I have tried to find which Pauri can help me, but none of them seem to be applicable to my situation.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!!

Sat nam. No, there is no paath for hair restoration. Listen dear, please see a doctor and ask for a hormone check. Are you eating enough protein? Also see a dermatologist, I believe they deal with scalp (under hair). And a hair beautician might also have some advice since hair is their livelihood.
Also, how hard is the water you wash in and do you use conditioner?
It could just be your body and your karma but you have to rule out curable medical conditions.
Guru ang sang,
