SSA,

My forhead is very big. its coming in front from my nose to up. my head is also not even. its like ocen wave going up and down. i feel so embrassed going out anywher or hanging out outside. i look good from front side but when i look myself from sided, it doenst look good. did i get this apperance because of my KARMA in my last life. can i do anything about it. should i do any specific paath so GOD will make my apperance good. i never noticed this when i was in india but here for last 5 yrs i notived first. i feel so ashamed. i dont wanna go back to india so my relative wont make fun of me.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Just about every person in the world thinks there is something wrong with their appearance! The interesting thing is that if you only could forget about your outer looks, and focus on being the nicest, kindest, most beautiful person INSIDE, people will love to be with you. There have been some physically "ugly" people that were highly respected and loved because of their virtues. Yes,Your phsical body was given to you based on past karma - since you inherited genes from your parents that gave you this particular form. Whatever it looks like to you is probably NOT the way it looks to other people. You can let this ruin your life and make you self conscious, or you can have the courage and cultivate and attitude of gratitude to your Creator -- GOD ! for giving you the opportunity in this life to experience your REAL Self, the divine spirit within you. The body is just a vehicle, it's not YOU. You are In this body, but it's not permanent. Spend some time every day connecting with your soul -- especially in the ambrosial hours of the morning, chant God's Name, and see what happens in your life! See what you can do to make this a better world for your having lived and breathed on it! Make your life worthwhile, and if you really want to be happy, serve others and forget about yourself.
