Follow the Speaking Tour of Dr. Nijher

On September 11, 2001, Sikh-American Dr. Navinderdeep Singh Nijher was one of the first doctors at Ground Zero to set up a triage center in front of the World Trade Center. He worked tirelessly and effortlessly alongside other doctors, helping with the wounded on that fateful day. Beginning September 4, 2002, Sikh Communications Council organized a 10-day speaking tour for Dr. Nijher. He was interviewed by the media, and also visited Rotary Clubs, churches, synagogues and offices sharing his unique and inspiring story. The tour covered the following cities: San Francisco, Fremont, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Stockton, Fresno, New York, Boston and Washington DC.
