San Francisco Public Radio Discusses Sikh Shootings in Richmond, CA


On Tuesday, June 15th, KQED Public Radio in San Francisco (88.5 FM) and Sacramento (89.3) discussed the shootings of two Sikh cab drivers during its Public Forum radio show. On July 2, 23 year old Gurpreet Singh was shot and killed in Richmond, CA while driving his cab. Three days later, 29 year old Inderjit Singh was shot but is recovering from the wounds.

Public Forum host, Michael Krasny, interviewed, among others, Maria Viramontes, Richmond City Council Member, Joseph Samuels, chief of Police of the City of Richmond, and Satinder Mohli, Bay Area Representative of the Sikh Coalition.
