| Dadra Any light classical composition in dadratal is called dadra. Dadratal consists of six matras (3+3). The song is full of shingar rasa (erotic feeling). The composition consists of two parts: asthai and antra. It is regarded akin to thumri. This composition is much used in film music. It is sung in medium and fast tempo. |
