Description:
On October 5 2008 I will be participating in a 5K "Run For The Cure" for cancer in Toronto. I have started a team entitled "TEAM MOM". Yesterday my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faces a very long battle ahead of her which she will not do so alone. There are millions of women worldwide who have lost their fight, who are currently fighting or will wake up with the frightening news that they have breast cancer.
Goals:
My hope is to raise as much money as I possibly can toward finding a cure for cancer. On October 5th I shall run 5K in order to raise as much as I can. This short distance is just the beginning of my battle toward helping my mother and all the other women and men in this world.
Needs:
I am looking for donations. As much or as little as you possibly can provide. 100% of the money I raise will go to charity. Tax receipts are issued. I am also looking for any women who are interested in being part of my team. I have registered as an official team with the charity. For more information please email me at [email protected].
