In the long run, it is your spirit which makes you win, which gives you courage, which gives you endurance, which gives you intuition, which gives you self-esteem and self-knowledge. The universe which you see outside is in you, too. Let me show you your universe in you.
Cross your hands on your heart center. If you’re sitting in chairs, sit with a straight spine. We’re not going to do much, just an experiment, no big deal. We’re not going to convert your religion, which is laziness, to smartness, which is “you”. We’ll give you a few exercises here and there.
Now close your eyes, and breathe consciously. Not automatically, but breathe in and breathe out mechanically. It’s the easiest thing you can do. Just breathe in and breathe out mechanically, and put your hands on the heart center, just to create a neutrality of the magnetic field. Breathe mechanically, not automatically. Breathe slowly and deeply and try to create a relationship with your breath of life. Welcome the breath in, and affectionately send it out with all the sickness of the body. When you breathe in, say, “Welcome, pranic health.” When you breathe out, say, “Goodbye all disease.” Just do it, calmly, quietly, and you’ll be surprised at how your mind is automatically controlled. Just by breathing mechanically, you immediately capture the mind. Your mind cannot run away when you are mechanically breathing. Isn’t it fun? The longer and stronger you breathe out, the more you will change. You’ll feel lighter and brighter and beautiful. Don’t meditate, just breathe.
If you can learn to breathe mechanically and you do it 2 ½ hours a day, you can have perfect health. You can start with eleven minutes; that’s a good start. Mechanical breathing adjusts the motor system in the brain to bring the entire functioning of the body under your physical control. The moment things come under your physical control, your subconscious hidden desire is to be healthy, strong, and prosperous. When your hidden prayers begin functioning, your body starts making the outer environments answer them. You don’t have to pray, just mechanically breathe. It will totally take away your fatigue. It will totally relax you, and it will definitely change you. Just keep doing it. And find out yourself what is true and what is not. Concentrate on yourself, meditate on your breath of life. Breathe absolutely mechanically and see what happens to you. When breathing in, welcome the pranic health, when breathing out, say goodbye to all sickness which is now or which is to come.
(After 11 min): Now please inhale deeply, hold the breath and squeeze your body so the energy can circulate throughout your entire body. Squeeze every muscle, s-q-u-e-e-z-e, and breathe out, breathe in again, hold the breath tight and squeeze from top to bottom. Squeeze your entire being. Breathe out. Breathe in again, hold the breath tightly, and squeeze the entire body, especially the spinal column, from the base up. Please relax.
