| The answer is simple, rituals. One person did it others saw them doing it and wanted to do it as well to get more out of faith/religion. Arranging shoes ?, it's to make the gurudwara look neat. Touching underneath of shoes and tapping their head ? i guess its in hope that they have the charan dhul of some saint/sangat coming to the gurudwara....a form of humility.. However whatever makes ppl happy, there is no need for people to pursue a boxed definition of perfection. |
