Moderator's Note: The question was totally different but we continue in our armchair fights over who a lion is. The saddest part is that we even have the insensitivity to remember those who died with tire around the neck, perhaps without having done anything ourselves, forgetting how police cleared the Sikh households of the arms ahead of the mobs and how these "lions" were outnumbered. Let us not compare the fights of the Rajas with the fights a Sikh (Whether that Sikh is a Lion or a Jackal) faces today. Kindly remember the weapons used today (the media, Internet, distortion of history, destruction of literature, not to mention the "law" enforcement and political games) as compared to the weapons of those times and stop arguing just for the sake of an argument.

Yes sadly, I see that Ankhee Ji started this thread trying to prove that those Sikhs who asked for foreign help did not deserve to called lion. It's sad because let's say some Sikh had a burning tire around his neck as many did in 1984 in Delhi and cities and we are fully capable of helping him. Are we going to deny the help just because he might have called himself a lion? I sure hope not...

Then he changed the subject to involve killers of Indira and calling them to lions and saying that no other lions came forward as a lion after 1984. This is ridiculous. Nobody has to kill to show that he is a lion. A brave man does his best to bring peace on this earth rather than killing people...
