| I agree statement such as "She was very persistant, and I finally gave in " Don't for me really add-up. This girl who moved over from India (ie a very conservative society) 2-4 years ago chased this guy (with a child) until he gave up ? This is something that many girls brought up in the west would be reluctant to do no matter how much they liked the guy. I find the whole thing very suspect Could it be that you are pursuing this girl and she is not interested in a permanent relationship (maybe for religious reasons) and your trying to use this forum to get people to say the whole thing is OK ? I once said on this forum that if someone is serious about maintaining their Sikh roots then when it comes to finding a life partner they would find someone who is equally keen. The reality of the situation is that only another Sikh or someone already considering going into Sikhism would share that goal. A Sikh should marry a Sikh or a person who is walking towards Sikhism Maybe this girl feels the same |
