| I’d to bring to the Sangath attention that articles are being circulated and the impression being given is that these have the approval of Guru Ghar. http://www.acsagurdwara.org/ I find the Manmat on the Home Page not in line with what a Gurudwara Home Page should be viz Gurbani. And the Author of these articles keeps quoting these on Sikhnet and various Sikh Sites. http://acsagurdwara.org/review_nanak_hdhil.html http://acsagurdwara.org/religious_beliefs_drdln.html http://acsagurdwara.org/sikhamrit_spectrum_article_drdln.htm I called up the number 919-309-1045 provided on the Website and its a residence number. A Lady picked up the phone and I enquired from her if this was a Gurudwara and she said that 'eh Gurudwara nahi gharr haigaa' (its not a Gurudwara its a house). Maybe the Gurudwara's phone is in the Granthi Ji's home. Now what’s happening is that when this Author quotes his articles it looks like the article is from a Gurudwara as can be seen form the links provided. I’m sure many would be mistakenly taking the articles to be having the stamp of Guru Ghar’s acceptability. If it’s a Gurudwara Site then the Gurudwara should be asked to remove the Manmatt on its Home Page. If it’s an Association then the Association should be asked not to let Gur Ghar’s name be misused. I’ve written to various US Sikh Organizations and SGPC. |
