| I emailed the editor the following ********** The Editor Dear Editor: I was disturbed to see the picture Mother of all Sand Castles (http://coke.rotten.com/mother-of-all-sandcastles/) that was posted on your site. The picture clearly shows Sikh men who can be identified with their turbans. Your readers may not be aware that Sikhs are not Afghans. Sikh religion is distinct from other faiths. I am adding a list of links for your information. This ignorance of our faith was responsible for the death of an innocent Sikh man in Phonix in the reaction to the horrible events of September 11. Since then, for months now, the Sikh community in the US has been actively trying to educate the American people with the hope that Sikhs don't become victims of hate and prejudice. Unfortunately, the picture on your website, will only engender ill will against innocent Sikhs. As a part of our education campaign we contacted the mainstream US media. They were responsive. I hope you will help us in our goal to eliminate ignorance so that all Americans can live together by being respectful of each other. I have also sent you a request for membership to your website so that i can post this letter for the benefit of your regular readers.
