The 5th Lord of Miracles Tour in Honor of Guru Ram Das Travels to Columbia

11/19/2007

Comments Email this Article
Colombia is our 7th country on this most incredible 5th Lord of Miracles Tour in Honor of Guru Ram Das. Perhaps in many ways Colombia really shows how the hand of the Guru has really penetrated the lives of millions of South Americans. From the moment we arrived we were faced with press conferences and 4 television interviews that aired between 7- 30 minutes including the morning talk show seen by the entire country.

Perhaps our greatest effort has been placed with the National Police of Colombia. As a result, they have now decided to incorporate Kundalini Yoga into their academic program at the National Police Academy . This means that every branch of the police force including the intelligence division, secret service, investigative division and the officers on the street will be practicing Kundalini Yoga for 3 years before they begin their official career. It is really a miracle of Guru Ram Das.

Also, the beautiful, dedicated sangat of Colombia has decided to start "Langar Colombia". Their incredible energy to perform Seva now has a beautiful way to manifest. Everyone in South America is touched by the heart and perhaps the most beautiful aspect of Sikhi that people practice is "Vand Chako" and their desire to help those who are in need. Langar Colombia will be able to serve thousands of people on a weekly basis with good nutritional food served in the spirit of the 3rd Guru, Guru Amar Das.

Please enjoy the following pictures. It gives a general highlight of our jam packed four days in Colombia.

    By: S.S. Gurubachan Singh Khalsa
