    Celebration of the Love & Legacy of Yogi Bhajan (1929 – 2004)
    Hacienda de Guru Ram Das Ashram, Espanola, New Mexico
    Saturday August 26th 2006.

    The annual Birthday Celebration for Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji – Yogi Bhajan was held at Hacienda de Guru Ram Das Ashram, in Espanola, New Mexico, USA. In a village style setting with large white tents featured a bazaar of legacy businesses and services established through his inspiration and guidance, entertaining activities for children, and an international buffet food court.

    Many government officials joined with interfaith representatives and 600 guests from all over the world to enjoy and participate in the program, including Speaker of the New Mexico House of Representatives Ben Lujan, the former First Lady of New Mexico Dee Johnson, and other distinguished dignitaries of New Mexico representing the Supreme and Appellate Courts.

    Highlights of the Program included film clips illustrating the Legacy and Teachings of Yogi Bhajan, a performance by tabla master Ustaad Murli Manohar, Ph.D., from Guru Nanak Dev University in India, a lively bhangra performance, greetings by Bibiji Dr. Inderjit Kaur, wife of the late Yogi Bhajan, and by community and state leaders.
