    New Delhi (KP) - Last week, PW presented an exposé, “Desecration of the Guru by Our Own Institutions” on the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) in which photographic evidence was published depicting disrespect and desecration by DSGMC employees and sevadars of the Holy Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at the Gurupdesh Publishing facility in the Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib complex.

    While there has not been any official reaction from the DSGMC, or Akal Takht  Jathedar Vedanti to this sacrilege, the Sangat at large is becoming aware of the misdeeds of the these ‘siyaasi masands.’ Even though these individuals are in control of Sikh religious institutions with an annual budget of millions of Rupees, they are purposely turning a blind eye to the serious violations of maryada going on within them.

    Meanwhile, Sikhs organizations and sewadars have published thousands of pamphlets and posters across Delhi and other states highlighting the beadbi by the Delhi Committee, in hopes to pressuring the Committee  to make amends in the way they publish and treat the Sacred Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
