After studying in the United States for several years with Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan, S.S. Dr. Gurudass Singh Khalsa and his family moved to Spain to spread the teachings of the 3HO way of life to people there. Gurudass Singh opened his chiropractic practice in Spain in 1983, and in 1992, he founded the first chiropractic school in Spain, which has been very successful. The School of Chiropractic and Massage Therapy, of which he is the director, is a very competent group of professionals who work together consciously in an environment of friendship and spirituality.
Gurudass Singh's vision for the School of Chiropractic and Massage Therapy is that it will be a sanctuary where people in need can come to be healed and served. Gurudass Singh is happy that he has been given the opportunity to serve humanity in many ways. He feels it is a blessing to share his love of God and humanity, and his love of the spiritual and sacred technologies taught by the Gurus with those he meets in his clinic and school.
Half of the clinic staff are Sikhs and half practice other religions and they are bound together by their commonly-held desire to heal and to serve. Gurudass Singh finds that the sacred teachings of Guru Nanak speak in a universal language that most people can easily relate to. By serving through providing health-promoting techniques and medicine, and in this way helping others with their suffering and problems, Gurudass Singh, Gurudass Kaur, and his staff have found that they can manifest that universal spirit in others.
The teachings of Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan on Kundalini Yoga, meditation and healthy living have contributed greatly to the success of the clinic and school, as well as to their community building efforts in Barcelona. Gurudass Singh says these teachings are the greatest asset that the School of Chiropractic and Massage Therapy has to share with others.
Gurudass Singh's wife, S.S. Gurudass Kaur Khalsa, works with him in the clinic and school, as well as in their work in the community. They also both serve on the International & European Khalsa Councils of Sikh Dharma, and have worked for many years spreading Sikh Dharma, and the healing technology of Kundalini Yoga and meditation to people in Europe. Both Gurudass Singh and Gurudass Kaur have also been greatly blessed with wonderful, heart-opening, healing and uplifting musical talent, which they have shared for years to heal and uplift. Through Gurudass Singh and Gurudass Kaur, we can see that the spirit of serving and healing ignites the heart and soul of communities.
