First let me say I appreciate Sikhnet and the Youth mods do a huge seva and contribute large amounts of time, to keeping this site alive and helping hte Youth.

However alot of recent answers I have read have simply been against Gurmat.

Take the example of the Muslim Boy and Sikh girl, not only was there a message regarding the exact same problem with Muslim conversions not long ago, but Guru Gobind Singh EXPLICITLY said in his 52 commands, ONLY GIVE YOUR DAUGHTER (or son) TO A GURSIKH FAMILY...in rehatnama it says TO GIVE IT ANYWHERE ELSE IS LIKE POISON

You then say that a monnah is "Gursikh in his heart". You forget that Bhai Gurdas, whose words are treated as Dhurr Kee Bani, says that you are only a true Sikh of the Guru once you are baptised.

I am not knocking the effort of the Youth mods, but some of their answers are not in line with the Gurus teachings. Its harsh to tell a kid that technically hes not a Gurus Sikh, or that a Sikh CANNOT marry a Muslim, but thats what the Guru said; our life is a jewel that is so hard to obtain and if we waste it on the wrong things or take a wrong step, then it is wasted. Gurbani says the path of a Gursikh is as sharp as a double edged sword and finer than a hair......

If hte Mods would like me to answer some Youth Questions I can try to the best of my ability but I am a moorakh and may not be able to do as good a job, but I will try and give it from a Gurmat perspective and ignore my own Manmat perspective in the short answers I try and give.
