Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh.

I have recently lost one of my very dear friends. I have been praying for his soul to rest in peace, but i was also wondering if there was any special shabad or prayer that i could do for him. Thank you very much.

Often, the Saad in Ramkali on ang 923 is recited when one passes on. Anand Sahib is another good bani, a way of celebrating the journey home, so to speak. Depending on the situation, you might also find Sukhmani Sahib appropriate for your friend. When you recite these, do so with the intention of supporting your friend when you do. Guru ang sang,
