HI

PLZ COULD YOU GIVE ME SUM GOOD ADVICE LIKE U HAVE IN THE PAST.
I HAVE A COSUIN SISTER WHOS 16 VERY GOOD LOOKING AND HAS BEEN SMOKIN SINCE 14. I REALLY WANT HER TO STOP. IT REALLY HURTS ME. SHE SAID SHE STOPPED DRINKING BUT I CANT BELIEVE HER. HOW CAN I MAKE HER STOP DOING THESE THINGS. HER BEING 16, SHE THINKS THAT SMOKIN IS KOOL SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW BAD IT IS.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. If she doesn't know how bad it is to smoke, she is really ignorant, and you are a good sister/cousin to try to help her. Get hold of some literature (there must be plenty on the internet -- Google it) and make her read it. The statistics are overwhelming about the dangers of smoking. Trying to be "cool" she is destroying her lungs and setting herself up to get Cancer later in life. Please also pray for her. Do your best to help her, but remember, we each have the power and the right to make idiots of ourselves, and that, of course is what she is doing. It is so sad. She is lucky to have a friend like you! May God and Guru bless you both. SP
