I am a 20 year old boy. My problem is that I have got a long moustach but the growth rate of my beard is vey slow. I have got large bunch of hair under my cheek.

In Sikhism beard is considered to be very important because it shows the maturity. It looks very ugly with half beard and a long moustach. Even my cousins who are 2-3 yrs younger to me have got good beard. They make fun of me. This maks me so much depressed that sometimes I even think of killig myself.

I'll be very much thankful to you if you please help me. Please suggest me some way which can help me increase my beard.

Sat nam. You are a Sikh and you are letting taunts of family about your beard make you suicidal when so many have had to give their heads for our faith. Son, there must be something else going on if this is your reaction. (1) Ignore your relatives. The more upset you get, the more you egg them on. If you ignore them and show no reaction, they will stop.

(2) accept your body as God made it. FOr some the beard fills in late; you cannot push Mother Nature. Accept God's timing on this and put your energy to more practical and spiritual pursuits. It is far more important that you have some substance behind your form: do you practice the naam? Your bani? Serve others? Show people who you are from inside, and they'll start ignoring details like a short beard.
(3) Get counseling. Suicide is against most all faiths. Seems to me the beard is the tip of the iceberg on what's troubling you. Please seek professional help. Guru ang sang,
