Summary of Question:	Soo Confused,Scared.

waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fatehhh

khalsa ji .. i m very much confused .. and scared .. i feel like i don't have enough faith in guru ji .. that's why i m scared .. i came to know some things about christianity .. which tell us same things as sikhi does .. like love god.. do good deeds .. share.. praise god .. so i got scared .. that if christianity says such things how come sikhi is different .. so i got sooo confused .. and scared what if i go out and people will come and tell me come to christianity .. cuz of such things then again i will be confused .. i m have no faith in me .. i m scared .. and i m confused .. what should i do .. i don't want to leave guru sahab .. please help me.. and i please beg you .. don't post this question.. please..

Your email didn't work, so I am posting this, because it is a very good question that probably others are struggling with. And, your email address is not posted with the question, so no one will know who it is coming from.

First let me say that all religions are very similar. There is one God. That is the basis for most religions. And most religions, in fact I can't think of any that don't have similar concepts like you mentioned of love and compassion. There is one principal about Sikhism that I love the most...namely that God is within us, and infact WE are God. We don't have to go looking for God, because He/She is right within us. I love the concepts about reincarnation and Jiwan Mukt, that we can be liberated while alive...not wait to die. Heaven and Hell are not things we die to experience...we know them right this minute. You are in Hell because you are struggling with your faith. The most important thing is to choose a religion and then just stick to it. All paths lead to the same place in the end. Don't dilute your self by jumping from one to the other. And, finally, faith have nothing to do with religion anyway. Faith is a belief in God and the Infinite. I hope this has helped you. GTKK
