hello. well, i have couple of things to ask you.

i have a friend who took amrit but she was forced by her mum to cut her hair because she had split ends and her hair was dropping alot. she didn't cut it but her mum did even despite she begging her not to.
she feels really guilty and she doesn't know wht to do.
on top of tht, she now feels tempted to shave her leg hair because she feels tht she has to take amrit again later..but, she wants my advice. i don't know wht to tell her so i need ur advice urgently. what do i tell her?

"forced by her mum...?" Hmmm.... how can she be forced to trim her hairs? Convinced perhaps, not forced. Hairs will grow back. If there are split ends, oil the hair, massage the scalp and wear the hair coiled up and covered. There is no need to cut them.

The real problem here is not hairs, but guilt. Her relationship with Guru Ji is hers alone. Let her take her guilt and offer it to Him and let it go. The only thing that matters is what she does now. The past is gone. The time has come for honesty and self-knowledge.

In the name of the Guru, the light of every Sikh and the Holy Naam which holds the world.

.....G
