Summary of Question:Radha Soamis
Category:General Sikhism

I read the post from earlier dude and the moderator asked to define "radha soami". I know the word radha means soul and soami means master. I know the term is suppose to be used casually but is also suppose to be a reminder of the fact the our god is the master of our soul not us. People consider religion a spiritual experience, but radha soamis look at it like this that "we are spritual beings going through a human experience". RS calls "kaal" god's best disciple because he is so successful at his maya and getting humans involved in rituals (human made) and taking them farther from god. Look, radha soamis, stemmed from Soami ji in Agra (india) since then the successors have been Sikhs. I have witnessed the current master, who will be in california USA aug 8-10. If somebody doens't understand who or what RS are then why not take the time to learn about them, or are you afraid of what might you see? Or is it easier to be ignorant and ignore comments or questions from youth regarding RS. Overall, i thought this site was for "Sikh Youth". There are several sites on the net, about the pros and cons of the RS path, its matter of wanting to educate yourself. Sikh history is so rich in fighting for others, and the attempts to establish fairness. thank you.

Thank you for your input. That is why I asked someone to define Radha Soamis. The person asking the question about them was upset that noone had answered his/her inquiry. To be fair to them, I asked for a definition. Being a moderator is totally a voluntary thing. I honestly don't have the time to spend hours every day researching things. That is why I opened it up for someone, like yourself, to reply. I invite anyone else who knows about RS to add input. GTKK
