My question is regarding choupai sahib.
Question is like this.....
In this bani(choupai sahib),we always pray that"Hamri karo hath dey rachha , puran hay chit ki iccha.."
so i wanna know that is this bani is sing when we need protection from enemies and should we pray to Baba ji for our rachha/protection when we have some fears, doubts, and ...feel scared from peoples
I think you can understand what i am trying to ask as my words are not much clear...
shed some light on this Bani/purpose of singing this Bani.

This bani is for protection, and if you feel a need for this, then recite it daily in the morning and at night or more, if you feel it's needed. 10th Guru himself recited this bani for protection. You can also recite the last pauri of Rehiras Sahib (rakhay rakhanahar aap ubarian) for protection. 11 times is good.
