WaheGuru ji ka Khalsa, WaheGuru ji ki Fateh.

I have heard from everybody, when one sikh is in trouble sacha sahib WaheGuru always helps him. I have been doing path everyday for the last 2 years not that i want something from WaheGuru, but i want to naam jaap, and be a GurMukh. but the last 4 months have been terrible, everyday seems worse than other. And if i ask Waheguru for the person i truly love, we got ever further apart and now we dont talk to eachother anymore. Yes, i maybe a bit depressed, but more than that, im hurt and disappointed, that i do path every single day and ardas. and one thing that i asked for, waheGuru dint give it to me. It is not that she is not my true love, She most defenaitly is, but i dont understand why? I am not going to stop beleiving in waheGuru, but this will impact me for rest of my life. All i want to know is, Why put her in my life, if she had to be taken away. I ask WaheGuru to make another hukam, for her to love me again.
a hurt, but still A GurSikh
Guru ang sang, Gur Fateh

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Human relationships can be very painful when they don't work out the way we want them to. I am sorry you are hurt and disappointed. I don't know the reason this is happening in your life, but nothing happens by accident. I do not know the karmic lessons your soul CHOSE to learn in this lifetime. Hold on to your faith in God and Guru! Realize even God does not interfere with free will to the extent of MAKING someone love someone else! You can pray for her to love you, and send her your most loving, kindest thoughts and wishes. But I assure you, if she has rejected you, then you need to have the courage and the self respect to move on, and stop allowing her attitude to spoil your life in any way. If it was meant to be, it would be. If not, then be grateful to God and Guru that this happened BEFORE marriage! I understand how deeply sorrowful you feel now, but, if you are willing to let go of this attachment, you will have grown in consciousness, and you will grow closer to Guru. The only attachment of any permanent value is the one we have with God and Guru. So, keep up with your path, keep up with your righteous actions, and you will be blessed. My prayers are with you.
