Hi,

I have never cut my kesh in my entire life. I love having long hair but my problem is that my family has a long line of men who begin losing their hair naturally. I understand that this is due to the genes but are there any remedies whether herbal/medical/spiritual or any other that can stop or at least slow down the baldness?

My father and grandfather have told me they started going bald at 19 years of age. That’s only 3 years away so could you please help me. I have also heard that washing your hair with yoghurt helps them to grow, I haven’t tried it for obvious reasons, but does it work.?

I'm ready to try anything,i don't want to lose my hair so please help me.

Thank you

Sat nam. You can't fight genes. Look up 'male pattern baldness' on the internet for more info. Frankly, if this is how Waheguru made you, you should accept it. You can help yourself by taking care of your hair. Visit a barber or hair salon and pay them for an hour of ADVICE for how to baby your hair (shampoo, condition, brush, take it down periodically, don't use rubber bands, hair nutrition, etc etc.) Hair is these folks' specialty and they have seen it ALL.
