SS Akal.

I was browsing some sikh wbsite and there i heard a video by an elderly sikh. He suggested that if we ask God for somethin we are not tue sikh. Sikhism is giving and not asking. Should we include any worldly demands in our regular ardas. Gurudwaras ardas also has some worldy demands .Is in sync with the gurus teachings!

It all depends upon the consciousnes in which it is done. If I ask The Guru to help me find warm blankets for the homeless in our community, am I a bad Sikh? If I ask Guruji to help my clinic be a success, so I can serve more people in our community, am I a bad Sikh. If I ask Guruji for a red Porsch, so I can look "cool" with my friends...well, you decide. Prayers done with sincerity with the good of others, I feel are acknowledged by the One. GTKK
