Dear Respected Borther/Sister...
I want to start the Guru Ram Das Prayers that goes on for 40-90 days. My query is that the Shabd by Guru Ram Das prayer which you have to recite 11 times a day for 40-90 days.. does that mean that you cannot pray when a woman is on her period? Does she she have to restart it? Also when you mean recite the prayer 11 times a day does that mean that you can recite it when you are at work? Obviously I know i have to cover my head and everything..We have a prayer room here for muslims but i can use it too for my prayers.
Please respected brother/sister please give me an answer ASAP.... as I am looking to start the prayers... I want to wish something from God as I am in desperate need for God's help.
Regards,
VKVF...

p.s. You are doing a really good job and helping the sikhs/non sikhs..also sharing your knowledge of sikhism with us...THank you.
(REPLY) Sat Nam. There is no restriction about where you recite your prayer -- obviously you would want to have privacy if you're planning to recite in your office. And whether a women is having her period does not interfere with completing the number of days suggested. God bless you, and Guru guide you! SP
