I just wanted to thank all of the moderators for their help...I'm sure that I am not alone when I applaud the moderators in the service that they provide to us youth. Again thank you for providing the youth with solutions to our problems...when we can't see solutions yourselves!! In regards to the shabad "Bhand jamee-ai, Bhand nimee-ai, bhand manganaa viaho...I have be asked to recite this shabd 11 times every day or sing it with full concentration for 31 minutes. Do this for the next 90 days and be prepared to make it a regular part of your life. After the 90days, how many times should I recite it???Not only for this shabad, what about other shabads, when you finish reciting them, how should one carry on?? Thank you again for your help!! Always greatly appreciated!!

Sat Nam. If you are going to make it a regular part of your day, then see how you feel about it after 90 days. Then decide if you want to keep up how you are practicing it now, or adjust to something simpler, such as 11x/day recitation. This is true for any simran or shabd practice. The 90 days is to cause a shift in consciousness, which needs at least 40 days to occur. After the 90 days, it is up to the practioner to determine the next step or how to continue. Figure it out meditatively...
