Summary of Question:Lack Of Intimacy

Hello there,

I have reviewed the forum multiple times, but wasn't able to get a good respond to the advice that I seek.

I have been married for about 2.5years now, and like any marriage we have had our up's and down's. But the last little while has been fairly good. We got over some big hurdles. But there is one hurdle that we are still struggling with. And that is physical intimacy in our relationship.

I find that i am always more inclined to want to 'Engage' where is my husband is very reluctant. He is either to tired or usually just not in the mood. We have talked about it and he usually just says 'I don't know - but i am just not feeling attracted to you or feel like doing it". It really leaves me feeling rejected and unwanted :(

He said he will be speaking to a counselor to see if they can help him, but i am wondering if there is a Path that i can do to assist in the matter. I really believe in the power of paath, because when we were having troubles i started doing the So Purakh paath and I think it really turned things around for us.

I know this is a sensitive topic for men especially because there is a lot of pride associated with it, and i am sure he too is feeling very inadequate about the whole situation.

Hope to hear from you.

Sat Nam Dear,

This is a very, very complex issue that you are bring up.
I afraid one e-mail or even a suggestion of a Shabad may not do it for you.
I do strongly recommend seeing a professional on this as there are way to many reasons why these things happen to people. Most couples experience it at some time or another and sometimes for very long time. The reasons can vary every single time and there is no single solution for it.
I wish you all the best.
