hello sikh youth. they say god has written our past life and future life but when we commit sins and paap they say it is kismit.does that mean that god is letting us do these things because he(god) himself has written our kismit. i am very confused with this question - why does he write horrible things in our kismit?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Do you know what "SAT NAM" means? It means TRUTH IS YOUR IDENTITY and it also means 'GOD'S NAME IS TRUTH." So, in other words, it's a paradox: ANG SANG WAHE GURU. God is in every limb of you. OK, so in more direct answer to your question, YOU make your own fate or destiny through your own actions, because GOD created you with Free Will. Please search on this site for all the postings about God's Will versus Free Will. Both things are correct. When we "sin" we do so because we have chosen to do so, and we will reap the karma.
