waheguru ji ka khalsa

waheguru ji ki fateh,

I am currently doing kirten kriya meditation and "Dhan Dhan ramdas guru jin siria" shabad everyday, but i feel that the mind takes over and makes it into a routine and an attachment, how do i deal with this? Also i pray for me and my family to be closer to waheguru, but i feel afraid,also my head feels tight alot of the time, i know i should appreciate what i have and to treat pain as a gift from waheguru but sometimes it gets hard, i would really appreciate your help.

Do the meditation longer and start visualizing the words you are reciting and out yourself into the nectar tank of the Golden Temple as you sing......know what you are saying clearly.
