Hi, I have a question that has been on my mind for a long time and hope that you can provide some insight. Recently I have been investing more time towards my faith based on my circumstances. See, just recently I have had a life changing experience in that I was accepted into the facutly I was dreaming about getting a job in (Pharmacy) and my plan to have a career in pharmacy is finally comming together. This event in turn has caused me to view religion in a very different light than I had previously thought. But I find it is much easier to be grateful towards my faith and God than before because I am sitting in a good space right now. But what about people who are suffering out in the world? I have a relative who lost her mom at a young age, her dad left the family, she developed MS, and her brothers ran away, leaving her the only member of that immediate family in contact with our extended family. I would believe that she has a different view of faith based on her circumstances. My question is that we Sikhs believe that God gives use this life based on good or bad deeds from our previous life and our actions dictate whether we reach salvation or suffer through countless other lives, but isn't it easier to have more faith and do good deeds when you have a better life and a more positive outlook? If a person is born into poverty or circumstances similar to the ones of my relative wouldn't it be much harder for them to reach salvation because their lives would be harder to keep faith? Sometimes I think about my life and how much different it is than my relative and it really breaks my heart to know that we were born in very different circumstances and I will do my best to make her life easier any way I can but this question keeps lingering in my mind
Any response to this question would be much appreciated, thank you in advance

Dear one,
Thank God for what you have. Bless those with less and be greatful for it all. Your situation could and will definitely change. Be good to all and wish them well and accept all as God's will. Help where you can and keep reading from your Siri Guru Granth Sahib to get your wisdom and faith.
