SSA Ji,

I am a very religious person.. very much into Sikhi.. and i made sure that i marry a Sikh.. yes .. i got engaged with this person.. and he is amritdhari.. i am glad that waheguru has fulfilled my wish..
My question is regarding a husband and a wife relationship.. this is what i think.. Since i am in love with Guru Gobind Singh.. i admire him.. eventhough all our Guru's are one Jot.. anyhow, i think.. that Guru Gobind Singh Ji didnt touch their wifves and Waheguruji blessed him with 4 Sahibzaade..
what does Gurbani or Guru Granth Sahib say about Marriage.. please advice.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
It is absolute nonsense that the adult 9 Gurus didn't 'touch' their wives. Their children were conceived the old-fashioned way, make no mistake about it. The whole point of Sikhi is that we can be householders and become liberated without going off to a cave for our entire lives. Don't be silly, girl! Are you afraid to have relations with your husband? There is NO sin in lovemaking and sex with one's spouse. What Guru cautions against is over attachment to spouse to the neglect of one's relationship with Guru, which is why chanting the naam with your spouse is important.

This is what Guru says:
THIRD MEHL: They are not said to be husband and wife, who merely sit together. They alone are called husband and wife, who have one light in two bodies. || 3 || PAUREE: Without the Fear of God, there is no devotional worship, and no love! for the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Meeting with the True Guru, the Fear of God wells up, and one is embellished with the Fear and the Love of God. When the body and mind are imbued with the Lord's Love, egotism and desire are conquered and subdued. The mind and body become immaculately pure and very beautiful, when one meets the Lord, the Destroyer of ego. Fear and love all belong to Him; He is the True Lord, permeating and pervading the Universe. || 9 || (ang 788)
Guru ang sang,
