is it important to sit on floor while reciting bani? can i do so while lying in bed or sitting on chair?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Lying in bed is not the best idea, because you want to be alert and awake to recite your banis. But, suppose you're sick and in the hospital, the of course you'd recite your banis in bed. Sitting in a chair is fine. Keeping your spine straight is helpful. I forget which of the Gurus used to tie his long hair up above to keep him sitting upright while meditating, so he couldn't fall asleep or fall over! Blessings, SP
