you are providing an excellent service to all of the sikh youth. i had a question about the location of the joora. i read in one of your replies that the joora is to be tied at the tenth gate over the soft spot on your head. where exactly is this and how can it be found. also, if there is an exact location of where the turban is to be tied that also would be helpful. thank you.

Greetings to you in the name of God the light of every soul and in the Name of Guru, the life of every Sikh.

The joora, or rishi knot for a man, is forward on the head. about 2 inches from the brow's hair line. It is like the hair is knotted where a light would be to shine your way in the dark.

For a woman, the rishi knot would be about 5-6 inches from the brow's hairline, more at the top back of the head.
