Summary of Question:Are We Human Or Sikhs First

Sat Sri Akal. I 'm 23 years old guy. I 'm moderately religous but very spritual. The question I ask myself everyday is whether I 'm a human first or a sikh first, Usually we see people differentiating each other as hindu, sikh , muslim or for that matter black, white or brown, If we all believe GOD IS ONE and we all are his children then why such discrimination, Why can't we see each other as humans first and then sikhs, hindus, muslim etcc. Also we people fight in the name of religion. Is that right??? To me I 'm a human first then indian and then a Sikh. Our discrimination has gone to this level that within Sikhism we 've created different types such as Jatt Sikhs, Bhapa Sikhs, Ramgarhia etc. and each of these 've created their own small communities. Is this right???? Are we practicing the basics of Sikhism right???? Is this what our Guru's taught us??? This is one of the few questions going on in my mind and would sincerely appereciate if someone can guide me on this.

Sat nam. We are all humans, but Guru is very clear what a Sikh human is. Ik Ong Kaar, Sat Nam Kartaa Purakh.... If you truly believe there is one Creator of the creation and live your life seeing everyone as part of this Creation, you are living as Gursikh. Sikhi teaches us to see the Creator in all. When we can do this without depending on some small maya-driven identity such as family, caste,or sect, then we are living as Guru instructed. Study Gurbani! Guru says it doesn't matter what you call God or yourself. That person is Gurmukh who meditates on the Naam and gives his/her head to Guru. Guru ang sang,
